YouTube pop sensation Lexi Noel knows a thing or two about saving lives, both on the human and animal front. The Atlanta-born singer recently rescued an 18-month old Chihuahua mix that was placed on the “kill list”.
Lexi tells us exclusively, “The minute I saw her and she saw me I knew she was my dog! I think she knew I was there to save her.”
The reduced pup was then called KoKo, which is OkOk backwards, the name of one of Lexi’s anti-bullying anthem tracks, which she uses as part of her anti-bullying speaking engagements while traveling to schools across North America.
“Some people think rescue dogs are bad mannered or have problems you can’t fix, but let me tell you that they truly love more and show it with their kind personalities. KoKo is so sweet and she’s turned into a celebrity dog with my fans!”
