Debra Berger is the Founder and Executive Director of Canine Assisted Therapy, Inc. (C.A.T.) in Oakland Park, Florida. Founded in 2009, C.A.T. is the premier volunteer pet therapy program in South Florida, with over 150 volunteer pet therapy teams. C.A.T. mission is to provide support, training, education, and mentoring to those interested in volunteer dog therapy programs and builds connections between volunteers and programs. Canine Assisted Therapy, Inc. has received national and international inquiries on how to establish a similar program.
