Hayley Bauer is a freelance writer from Alberta, Canada. She has worked with numerous dogs through her local animal shelter, and has had the opportunity to learn dog-handling skills from a high-level trainer. Hayley currently has a dynamic trio of her own rescue dogs, including a Great Pyrenees, a German Shepherd/Collie cross, and an Australian Shepherd/Akita cross.
